The 6th IAGTO North America Golf Tourism Convention will take place at the historic
Mills House Hotel and Charleston Convention Center, Charleston, South Carolina from
8-11 June 2014. Over 100 golf tour operators selling North America will attend the
Convention with some 25% from the USA & Canada and the remainder from more than
20 different countries all with North American golf programs. So if developing your
domestic or international visitor business is important, then this event is not
to be missed.
The Convention is open only to golf resorts, golf clubs, hotels, ground handlers
and other golf tourism suppliers in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Suppliers
have the opportunity to introduce themselves to all buyers during 2 hours of speed-dating
at the beginning of the first business day. This is followed 8 hours of meetings
over two days where each supplier can have up to 36 appointments of 15 minutes each
with tour operators that they wish to see. The business sessions will be preceded
by an IAGTO Briefing to ensure you get the most out of your meetings and are fully
up to speed with the current state of the market.
The networking-social functions include a Welcome Reception, Dine-Around, Finale
Night and a Golf Tournament over two amazing golf courses courtesy of our hosts
Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
