The PGA TOUR today announced its 2026 schedule, with a return to the iconic Trump National Doral (April 30-May 3) serving as a prominent new addition. The Miami Championship will be a Signature Event on the PGA TOUR schedule, offering a $20 million purse and exemptions to world’s greatest players.
“The opportunity to return to Trump National Doral was one we were excited to pursue given the PGA TOUR’s rich history of hosting events on the Blue Monster,” said Jordan Uppleger, Vice President, PGA TOUR Events. “With the 2026 schedule unveiled today, we look forward to announcing more in the coming weeks as we build toward what will be a memorable and impactful week at Trump National Doral.”
The return to Trump National Doral will mark the 56th playing of a PGA TOUR event at the course, which hosted the TOUR annually from 1962 to 2016. Fourteen World Golf Hall of Famers combined to win 24 times at Doral, led by Tiger Woods’ four titles, with Adam Scott as the most recent PGA TOUR winner at the venue in 2016.
"Trump National Doral is one of the most iconic golf destinations in the world, with a history of hosting the greatest players in the game,” said Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization. “From our world-class facilities to the legendary Blue Monster, every inch of this property is built for championship golf. We are honored to welcome the PGA TOUR back and look forward to showcasing this incredible venue once again."
Trump National Doral is among an exclusive list of nine current venues to appear on the PGA TOUR schedule for more than 50 years, including Waialae Country Club, Torrey Pines Golf Course, Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Riviera Country Club, Augusta National Golf Club, Harbour Town Golf Links, Colonial Country Club and Muirfield Village Golf Club.
“We’re beyond excited to welcome back the PGA TOUR to Trump National Doral for the 2026 Miami Championship,” said Christi Fraga, City of Doral Mayor. “Doral has a long-standing connection to professional golf, and this event will not only bring world-class competition to our city but also generate significant economic and charitable impact for our community. We look forward to showcasing everything that makes Doral the premier place to live, work, learn, and play!”
The Miami Championship will serve as the second PGA TOUR event contested in South Florida during the 2026 season, with the Cognizant Classic being held at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens for the 20th consecutive year (Feb. 23 – March 1). In total, five official PGA TOUR events will be staged in Florida during the 2026 season, the most since 2021.
