Hotel Quinta do Lago’s Amateur Golf Challenge will take place between the 26th of October and the 2nd of November, introducing a new format of participation in what has long been the golfing highlight of hotel’s year.

This year’s event begins with a pre-challenge that retains the much-appreciated social gathering character of this special competition, with a Fourball Team Medal Texas Scramble, a Three Clubs and a Putter, a Longest Drive and a Nearest the Pin competition to warm up the week.

The proper Challenge days will start on the the 30th of October, with an official Practice Round, followed with the Individual Stableford competition over the last two days.

This year's selection of golf courses includes, as always, the Quinta do Lago Courses (North, South and Laranjal), as well as Monte Rei and Vilamoura Old Course for the pre-Challenge days.

The challenge’s champion will be the player with the best score over the two rounds of the official Challenge, alongside with a special award for the player with the best Stableford Gross Score.
