Premier Golf's Women’s Golf & Travel Division Named “USA Authorized Provider” for Solheim Cup 2019

15 May 2018

In exciting news for Solheim Cup enthusiasts, Atlanta-based Premier Golf and its Women’s Golf and Travel Concierge (WGTC) Division have been named a “USA Authorized Provider” for the 2019 Solheim Cup in Scotland at Gleneagles Resort in Perthshire.

“This prestigious designation signifies to travelers the credibility, reliability and efficiency of our company,” said Barbara Gutstadt, founder of Women’s Golf and Travel Concierge. “For fans, Solheim Cup 2019 is a fabulous one to attend. It has a spectacular setting in Scotland at a world-class resort and our USA team is going for a three-peat, our third win in a row.”

The Solheim Cup, which was first played in 1990, is an international competition between the best women golfers in the U.S. and Europe. It’s the women’s version of the Ryder Cup-- a combination of passion, patriotism, phenomenal golf and adrenaline-pumping excitement.

The 2019 Solheim Cup matches will take place September 13-15 at the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles in Perthshire, Scotland.

Premier Golf’s managing director Ann Mabry, a native Scot and an avid golfer, knows the complexities of traveling in Scotland. She has taken groups to Gleneagles on many occasions through the years, including the 2014 Ryder Cup matches.  Mabry’s vast experience at the Ryder Cup and other major golf events will be invaluable to clients attending Solheim Cup 2019.

Gutstadt has successfully planned and executed package excursions to multiple Solheim Cups. Now, with Premier Golf, which has taken clients to Ryder Cups in Europe and the U.S. since 1991, the two have joined forces to provide the most experienced team in the golf travel business.

“I’ve had the pleasure of traveling with Women’s Golf and Travel Concierge to three Solheim Cup matches,” said Dr. Jean Harris, LPGA Master Professional. “The events both on and off the course are very organized and the travelers that I brought along have had a great time.”

Gutstadt and Premier Golf’s travel specialists put a strong emphasis on attention to detail and making their trips stress free.

“When you book a Solheim package with us, that’s only the beginning,” Gutstadt said. “We’re in constant communication every step along the way through email, conference calls and social media. Our goal is to make the Solheim Cup the best golf event experience in their life.”

As a member of the LPGA Women Who Play (formerly EWGA), the world’s largest women’s amateur golf association, Gutstadt has organized memorable trips with this organization as well as for state golf associations, country clubs and groups of individual golfers.

“Barbara’s trips cater specifically to couples and women golfers,” said Karen “Kiki” Leedy, past president of EWGA Fort Lauderdale.  “I have gone on her trips and have witnessed first hand her excellent professionalism, trip organization and have heard our members, who have gone on a trip, rave about their experience.”

For travel agents, PGA and LPGA professionals and golf associations, opportunities are available to take advantage of their Referral Program generating commissions for referrals to the Solheim Cup 2019.

“We’re tremendously excited about our packages to Solheim Cup 2019,” Gutstadt said. “With our vast experience and knowledge about the event, we offer clients the best way to fully immerse and enjoy this amazing golf competition.”
