The Ultimate Gathering Place Offers Centennial Group Meeting Package

It’s the 100th birthday of the El Campéon golf course at Mission Inn Resort & Club, but it’s meeting planners who are getting the presents.

The Resort’s value-laden Centennial Group Meeting Package offer has been extended through December 2017 at $100 per person, per night. The Centennial Group Meeting Package —available for groups of 20 people or more—includes deluxe guest rooms, breakfast buffet, conference space, morning or afternoon refreshment break, audio-visual credit, program setup, and professional coordination. The $100/person/night rate is based on double room occupancy, plus all applicable taxes and daily resort fee.

The ultimate gathering place, Mission Inn has years of experience delivering what meeting planners want for their groups: a stimulating environment and the full attention of an experienced resort staff.

Here’s what Linda Walker, President of the Florida Ski Council, says about Mission Inn, where her association holds its annual meeting: “We’re outdoor people. At Mission Inn, we have meeting spaces within walking distance of trap and skeet, fishing, nature walking trails, and world-class golf. Those are rare luxuries at a trade show.”

Mission Inn also provides ample function space for groups of 20 to 400 within its 1,100-acre property. Two large ballrooms and a variety of meeting spaces allow for general session keynote speakers or intimate strategic breakouts.

Jim Owen, Director of Golf at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and organizer of the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, says, “It’s challenging to please so many people for a week, but Mission Inn pulled it off…again. With two bonafide championship-caliber courses, honestly, I don’t want to go anywhere else!”

An original member of the Florida Historic Golf Trail, a collection of more than 50 courses across the state, the resort’s 100-year-old El Campéon Course is unique to central Florida with 85-foot elevation changes as its rolls through former citrus groves and hardwood forests.

The resort’s second course, Las Colinas (The Hills), designed by Gary Koch, opened in 1992 to immediate acclaim. Golf Digest recognizes both Las Colinas and El Campéon among “Best Places to Play” in North America.

Located just 35 minutes northwest of Orlando, Mission Inn’s Spanish-colonial-inspired architecture is a picturesque location featuring 190 graciously appointed guest rooms, suites and villas; four unique restaurants; a tennis academy; Spa Marbella; lakefront marine center; and nature trails.
