Morocco lunched the campaigne on Thursday, January 28. King Mohammed VI inaugurated the campaigne by taking the first dose of the vaccine, saying it is the first major opertaion rolled out in the African continent.
Tha vaccination campaign is free of charge for all citizens and residents. The Moroccan governnment believes making the vaccines free will make it easier to achieve herd immunity.
The capaigne is targiting 80% of the Moroccan population to reduce Covid 19 contaminations and gradually eradicate the virus.
