Branson Invitational, Superb Conditions and Specials Highlight Spring Golf in Missouri Ozarks

14 May 2019

Prime spring playing conditions and a bevy of value-laden golf offers beckon in Branson – recently named a Trip Advisor Top 25 U.S. Destination for the eighth straight year – home to 10 diverse yet complementary golf courses. Showcasing the collective golf excellence in this Ozark Mountains oasis is the Branson Invitational, a three-day event giving amateur players the chance to complete on three of Missouri’s top-rated courses in two-player teams.

The Branson Invitational will be played June 28-30 at LedgeStone, Branson Hills, and Buffalo Ridge Springs, all of which are ranked in the top six of Golfweek Magazine’s annual “Best Courses You Can Play by State.” Each day features a different playing style and course, starting with LedgeStone’s Best Ball format, then followed with a Scramble at Branson Hills, and finishing with a Modified Alternate Shot at Buffalo Ridge Springs.

The Branson Invitational is limited to 120 teams, with teams broken into 12 flights after the first two days of play. The cost per team is $590 and includes lunch the first two days. For more details or to register, go to www.BransonInvitational.com.

KISS from Thousand Hills Golf Resort
The KISS Principle – Keep It Simple Stupid – is an old but proven way to operate. So are coupons. Thousand Hills understands this, judging by its current coupon specials. Because golfers love value and they often need to juggle playing times, the Super Twilight option at Thousand Hills is tailor-made for them. For $39 plus tax (includes golf cart), players can enjoy the Bob Cupp-designed course after 3 p.m. Golfers cannot live by the game alone, they need sustenance. Thousand Hills brings value to “eats” with its $5 plus tax lunch special. It includes jumbo hot dog, chips and a drink. To complete the budget friendly theme at Thousand Hills, visitors to the golf shop can take 15% off all merchandise. To obtain coupons for these specials, visit the Thousand Hills Golf Resort website.
